Animal Rights

In peace class tonight, we focused on animal rights.  This topic was not my most highly anticipated one. I'm already a vegetarian and I try not to kill bugs.  However, at the end of the day, considering the spirituality and rationality of vegetarianism was meaningful.  It is a good reminder that we should be intentional about our choices, even when our routine is above board.  I also learned about Ag Gag bills and the importance of raising our voices to Congress.  As our teacher shared today, money and laws dictate our society.  If we don't have the money, we have all the more reason to dive into the laws!
